Pam Marino

Pamela Marino joined Di Benedetto Solutions, Inc. (DBS) in 2025. Prior to joining DBS, Pamela served as the Chief Legal Officer for Sutter Health, a 15B enterprise with more than 55,000 employees. In this role, Ms. Marino was responsible for the delivery of legal services and associated programs across a variety of disciplines, including Complex Litigation, eDiscovery, Contracting, Labor & Employment, Managed Care/Government Payers, Strategic Transactions and Plans/Networks, among others. Ms. Marino was a key contributor to the favorable jury verdict in the Sidibe v. Sutter Health antitrust trial, which received significant national attention. She has also spoken extensively on healthcare regulatory matters over the course of her 25 years as a healthcare attorney. Most recently, Ms. Marino served as Sutter Health’s Interim General Counsel and previously as a Chief Compliance Officer.

Ms. Marino has extensive experience in organizational design and management of workplace disputes. She is also experienced in program development- assisting teams with everything from metric development to preparation of a pro forma materials supporting new structures or functions (e.g., eDiscovery Services, Legal Operations, Special Investigation Teams, etc.). She launched the Sutter Health eDiscovery program and, in coordination with Human Resources, established one of the first integrated disability management departments. She also brings a strong project management background and experience overseeing and leading large business projects involving legal complexities (e.g., charity care program design, large-scale business consolidations, reorganizations, etc.). She ran due diligence for a number of M&A Projects and Bond Financings and served as the lead relationship attorney with underwriters placing multiple lines of insurance.

Ms. Marino lectures regularly on fiduciary duty, attorney-client privilege and complex litigation management and is well-versed in large-scale seminar production. For multiple years she served as the lead content author for the senior leader risk mitigation conference, an annual production delivered to 300+ attendees, including board members, CEO's and senior executives.

Ms. Marino received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her law degree from UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 1997.
